Person of the Month
TOM THURRELL
It has taken a long time for Tom's picture to appear on this
page. He was the person who took everyone else's photograph for the church
website when it was first set up in 1999 and digital cameras were hard to come
by and even harder to afford! All those years ago, Tom came to the rescue
and provided a gallery of faces that have been gracing this page ever
since.
Tom serves on the Parish Council and has put his expertise in street lighting at
the service of the local community as is seen in the characterfull street lamps
that enrich the centre of the village. When other folk are sitting back
and taking their ease, Tom is still busy working for a living - which is
probably what keeps him looking so young!
