RECTOR: Revd David Howard Martin

Born 1947; Associate of King's College, London (AKC) 1970; St Augustine's College, Canterbury 1970-71; Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) 1979; deacon 1971; priest 1972 in Lichfield Cathedral; Assistant Curate of All Saints' Sedgley 1971-1975; Priest in Charge of All Saints' Worcester & Diocesan Youth Chaplain 1975-1982; Rector of Newland, Guarlford and Madresfield 1982-1991; Rector of Alvechurch since 1991.
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTER: Mr Mark Isgrove

Mark joined St Laurence Church at the beginning of September 2006 as the church's Youth and Children's Minister. Mark comes from Birmingham and has worked previously with young people in Cheshire. He trained at the Riverside School of Performing Arts and has a particular interest in drama. He is currently undertaking a BTh degree in theology and youth work. His other interests are football, cricket and cycling, playing the guitar and website building.

Mr Richard (Dick) Orford Russell

First licensed as a Reader in this parish in 1962.; retired Headteacher; special interests: overseas links with our twinned church in Arequipa, Peru; education; choral and instrumental music; and retired-teacher welfare.
Mr Nicholas Day

First licensed as a Reader in 1988; he has served as a Reader in this parish since.then; freelance graphic artist; special interests: Family worship, adult Christian education.
ORGANIST & CHOIRMASTER:
Mr David Richmond

Retired teacher. Trained at the Birmingham School of Music (now the Conservatoire). Assistant Organist of Church of the Ascension, Hall Green and organist/pianist at St Michael's Hall Green and also at Rowney Green Church. Organist of St Laurence Alvechurch since 1985. Special interests: music and transport, especially railways and model railways.

Mr Roger Parish

Appointed Churchwarden in 2001. Retired Engineer with the Rover Car Company. Special interests: care of the environment, and Mini Coopers
Mr Michael Fletcher

Appointed Churchwarden in 2008. A self-employed transport glazing specialist whose leisure interests include acting and leading a young people's drama group.

Mrs Susan Seeley

Elected PCC Treasurer in 2007. A Chartered Accountant with a fine eye for detail. The Church's finances are safe with her!

Elected PCC Secretary in 2008 after she admitted possessing a computer. When not taking Minutes she can be found making music with numerous choirs and spreading harmony far and wide.
