Confirmation
The Service of Confirmation is the means by which a baptized person publicly states or confirms his/her baptism promises, receives the gift of the Holy Spirit through the laying on of the Bishop' s hands, and is admitted into full communicant membership of the church.
There is an annual Service of Confirmation for those living in this parish.
The Confirmation Service in 2010 is on Sunday 18 July at 10.30.am
Those wishing to join next year's Confirmation Group should contact the Rector as soon as possible. It is preferable that those who wish to be confirmed are at least 15 years old. There is no maximum age limit.
